Job description

As a Presales Manager, you will be a key contributor to our sales and bidding efforts, playing a crucial part in showcasing our AI-powered language technology products to potential clients. You will work closely with our sales and bidding teams to deliver outstanding technical support and demonstrate how our products meet the unique needs of our customers.

Requirements

  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the features, functionalities, and benefits of our products.
  • Assist in the development of sales proposals by providing technical expertise, product insights, and customized solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Work closely with the business development team to understand client needs and challenges, providing technical insights to shape the sales strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, serving as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.

Technical Documentation & Analysis

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including product datasheets, and other collateral.
  • Collect data from the company’s departments to prepare technical documents and prepare the different parts of a tender including technical solution writing, project team, methodologies & Compliance matrix etc.
  • Communicate solutions architecture to customers, third parties, and project teams.
  • Proactively scope the technical solution required to address Client / RFP requirements, including compliance.
  • Assess Bids by challenging the proposed solutions (functional, technical).

Client Education & Transition

  • Educate clients on the technical aspects of our products and assist them in making informed decisions.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from presales to post-sales support, facilitating a smooth client experience.

Market Insights & Trends

  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' offerings, providing insights to the business development team.
  • Collect and provide feedback to the product development team based on clients' interactions and market demands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and commercial teams, to ensure alignment on product messaging, positioning, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the bidding team to analyze and understand the requirements of customers as detailed in the tendering specifications (RFPs / RFIs / RFQs).
  • Coordinate internally with other departments and externally with partners & vendors.

Solution Customization

  • Update solutions demo site data with the appropriate material upon clients’ preferences / needs.
  • Apply technical analysis to create solutions based on the business needs of customers.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, Business information systems, or any related field.
  • 8-10) years of experience in a presales or technical sales role, preferably in the language service provider industry.
  • Hands-on technical experience with relevant software and systems used in the language service provider industry is a plus. This includes familiarity with translation memory tools, terminology management systems, and other localization software.
  • Proven experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Quick learner who can adapt to new technologies and processes rapidly.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, including conducting product demonstrations, needs assessments, and presentations to potential clients.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into customer-friendly language.
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in AI and language technology products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent level of proficiency with MS Office Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Arabic.
