Job description

Presales Consultant Compute Infrastructure is responsible for the technical solutioning on servers, storage, virtualization, Backup, and related services. Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining solutions as per customer needs. Collaborate with the Product Manager to define the product vision and ensure customer satisfaction goals are met.

CERTIFICATIONS : HPE MASE Preferred, Commvault CVSA Preferred, Server & Storage Certified, Backup Solution (Commvault / Cohesity / VEEAM) Technical Certification

EXPERIENCE : 8 to 10 years of experience

RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES ALL TASKS) :

  • Work closely with the Sales team to provide presales assistance supporting sales targets.
  • Demonstrate the value of the company's solutions to prospects effectively.
  • Align company's capabilities with client business requirements ethically and professionally.
  • Assist in completing RFI / RFP documents, bid coordination, prospect qualification, discovery, requirements gathering, product demonstrations, technical discussions, and solution design proposals.
  • Support sales opportunities within existing accounts to ensure customer success.
  • Participate in Proof-Of-Concept (POC) activities to help close deals.
  • Collaborate with the product manager to generate leads and opportunities.
  • Handle current products such as HPE, DELL EMC, Nutanix, VMWARE, Commvault, Cohesity.
  • Provide product training to internal sales teams.
  • Engage in commercial discussions with principals as needed.
  • Maintain regular discussions with OEM presales teams.
  • Liaise with distributors regarding product availability and pricing.
  • Assist sales in closing deals on technical grounds if required.

Additional responsibilities include competitive analysis.
