Key Responsibilities

As a Prep Cook at dnata Catering, you will play a vital role in our aviation catering team, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of high-quality meals for airline clients. Your main responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and organization of ingredients, following recipes and portion guidelines, and maintaining food safety standards. You will also help with inventory management, proper storage, and workspace cleanliness. Collaborating with the culinary team, you will support meal production through cooking, baking, and assembling dishes, contributing to dnata Catering's reputation for excellence.

You Will

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cutting and portioning meats, cheeses, fruits, and vegetables according to specifications
• Assisting with dishing out food for airlines
• Following recipes accurately and adhering to sanitation policies

NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Other duties as assigned by management

Salary: $20.00, influenced by experience and qualifications.

You Have

• High school diploma or GED, with 3+ years of high-volume food service experience and exposure to menu development
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and knowledgeable of culinary procedures
• Flexible and team-oriented
• HACCP certification
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle workload under deadlines
• Flexibility for different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Valid food handler's certificate

Additional Demands

Requires multi-tasking, attention to detail, punctuality, and physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds. The work environment is indoors with variable noise levels.
