Assistant Chef Job Purpose: We are looking for an Assistant Cook to join our group and prepare scrumptious meals for our consumers. Assistant Chef supplies support to chefs as well as has duties such as preserving materials, managing leftovers, preparing food, testing brand-new recipes, cleaning up the kitchen area, keeping cooking utensils organized, and layering dishes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reply to and take care of client's complaints pertaining to the products' quality.
Engage with clients to get feedback on items.
Daily food & patisserie preparation of the store according to DXBlends requirements.
Prepare & establish different types of pastries/cakes/sandwiches as well as all types of bread items.
Maintain a prep listing of station responsibilities.
Help in effectively receiving and keeping supplied items.
Perform various other obligations as appointed by the Head Chef.
Comply with the FIFO method to optimize quality.
Follow recipes, part controls, and presentation specifications as set by the event space.
Ensure attractive plate presentation.
Help in food supply and control.
Clean food preparation areas, tools, utensils, and strictly adhere to hygiene, food safety, and health standards.
Guarantee compliance with all health and wellness policies within the kitchen area.
Candidate Requirement
Fluent in English
Experience in customer care
1-2 years in cooking experience in Hot Kitchen and Bread area
Ability to take instructions and work smoothly and effectively under pressure
Cooking diploma/degree is an asset
