Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to maintain pristine guest rooms, corridors, and service areas to the highest standards. You will assist with bed-making, linen changes, bathroom cleaning, and stocking supplies while ensuring guest comfort and privacy.

The role requires attention to detail, English communication, reliability, and flexibility to work extended shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping within a 4- or 5-star hotel is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and housekeeping operations.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, suites, corridors, and service areas according to hotel standards.
• Make beds and replace bed linens, towels, and guest amenities.
• Clean bathrooms, furniture, mirrors, windows, floors, and other room fixtures.
• Replenish guest supplies and minibar items as required.
• Ensure housekeeping trolleys are properly stocked before the start of each shift.
• Attend daily briefings and follow instructions provided by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and complaints.
• Respect guest privacy and strictly follow all "Do Not Disturb" procedures.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, security hazards, and unusual situations immediately.
• Handle lost and found items in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in linen rooms, pantries, and storage areas.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and chemicals are used safely and appropriately.
• Follow all hotel policies, brand standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental practices.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain the highest standards of personal grooming, hygiene, and professionalism at all times. Responsibilities are adapted from comparable housekeeping attendant roles in luxury hotels.
