Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management, and Global Private Banking, aiming to become one of the world's largest wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working with colleagues to define, manage, and achieve divisional business targets.

In this role, you will:

The Premier proposition is a strategic priority for HSBC, and the Premier Service Manager plays a key supporting role in achieving its objectives. This role is part of the Premier relationship team and is created to provide an outstanding customer experience to our valuable Premier clients and increase the client-facing time of Premier Wealth Relationship Managers (PWRMs). It provides dedicated support to PWRMs in achieving KPIs related to activity management, client satisfaction, sales quality, acquisition, recurring income, and overall portfolio growth.

This role acts as a primary contact point for clients, especially in the absence of PWRMs, and may provide credit/lending support as required. Building ongoing, value-based relationships is critical for success.

The role requires extensive knowledge of banking products and services across wealth and retail sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify client needs and solutions, focusing on KPIs such as NTB acquisition, upgrades, and successful referrals.
  2. Provide high-quality sales support to PWRMs, mainly by scheduling appointments and supporting client servicing.
  3. Reduce administrative tasks to increase PWRMs' capacity.
  4. Support PWRMs in managing client contact and service, including handling client calls, resolving inquiries, and managing key event reminders.
  5. Assist in preparing and completing sales documents, managing data input, and liaising with support functions.
  6. Maintain high input quality standards for wealth deals.
  7. Develop extensive knowledge of HSBC systems and procedures.
  8. Proactively identify opportunities to improve process efficiencies.
  9. Redirect clients to the most effective channels sensitively.
  10. Help clients navigate their preferred interaction channels effectively.
  11. Ensure clients receive a professional, premium service exceeding expectations.
  12. Maintain high standards of control and operational practices.
Requirements:
  • Graduation degree (mandatory for UAE Visa and Work Permit).
  • Strong interpersonal, empathy, decision-making, and delivery skills.
  • Minimum of two years experience in financial services.
  • Experience in Retail/Premier sales preferred.
  • Understanding of core products, Premier proposition, and retail/wealth processes.
  • Familiarity with relationship management systems (CRM, RM Platform).
  • Solid knowledge of branch operational procedures.
  • Money Laundering Awareness Certificate.
  • Knowledge of relevant market regulations.
  • Good knowledge of HSBC and personal banking.
  • Team player with collaborative skills.
  • Knowledge of local and Group compliance regulations.
  • Ability to deliver client experience and needs-based solutions through effective communication and sales skills.
  • Professional and regulatory qualifications as required.
