Job summary

Ecojob is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Zayed City, UAE. The role involves welding components and assemblies using arc, MIG, TIG, and oxy-acetylene processes on a variety of materials.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, setting up and maintaining equipment, inspecting finished work, and ensuring compliance with specifications. The position offers competitive pay and benefits, with a willingness to consider skilled immigrants.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder with hands-on shop experience.
• Certificate from a vocational welding program preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow instructions accurately.
• Good knowledge of materials used in the industry (aluminum, steel).
• Excellent manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Set up and operate welding equipment such as arc welders, MIG welders, TIG welders, oxy-acetylene torches.
• Fit, align and join components together before welding.
• Monitor the welding process to avoid overheating, warping, distortion or expansion of material.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications.
• Make necessary changes or adjustments to correct defects.
