Responsibilities

• Position and secure reinforcement steel bars and mesh in concrete formwork according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Interpret and analyze construction blueprints, structural plans, and technical documentation to ensure accurate steel placement.
• Tie and bind steel reinforcement using appropriate techniques and materials to maintain structural alignment.
• Inspect steel placement for quality assurance and compliance with project specifications and UAE building codes.
• Organize and manage steel materials on-site, ensuring proper storage and accessibility.
• Collaborate with construction teams, engineers, and supervisors to coordinate steel fixing activities.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and material usage.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment and hazard awareness.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards or structural concerns to supervisory personnel.
• Perform quality checks to verify that all steel reinforcement meets design requirements before concrete pouring.
