Overview

This is a front-office, client-facing role focused on sourcing new clients in Central Asia & The Middle East and managing existing relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a portfolio of gold-producing clients, mines, refineries, government institutions, etc., in Central Asia.
  • Market StoneX Bullion and promote products in the Middle East.
  • Market existing products and services to these clients.
  • Manage incoming customer trades, both physical and, if appropriate, financial.
  • Maintain key supplier relationships, including traders, refiners, and mines.
  • Support established business activities, including inventory management and daily liquidity.
  • Support expansion into new markets.
  • Travel extensively within Central Asia and the Middle East as required.
Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you will need:

Qualifications

- Extensive experience in a precious metals role.

- Passing relevant FCA exams if required by management.

- Knowledge of hedging as applied in a precious metals business.

- Established relationships with relevant market players, including customers and suppliers.

- Knowledge of key markets in the region, products, and prevailing prices.

- Strong communication skills in English and Russian (written and oral).

- Keen to generate new business ideas.

- Effective planning, organization, and time management skills.

- Commercial awareness.
