Job purpose
This is a front-office, client-facing role primarily focused on sourcing new clients in Central Asia & The Middle East and managing existing relationships.

Responsibilities

General Duties

  • Develop a portfolio of gold-producing clients, mines, refineries, government institutions, etc., in Central Asia.
  • Develop StoneX Bullion and market the products in the Middle East.
  • Market existing products and services to these clients.
  • Manage incoming customer trades, both physical and, if appropriate, financial.
  • Maintain key supplier relationships, including but not limited to traders, refineries, and mines.
  • Support established business as necessary, including inventory management and daily liquidity.
  • Support expansion of the business model into new markets.
  • Travel as required; this role will involve extensive travel in Central Asia and the Middle East.

Knowledge and Experience
- Extensive experience in a precious metals role
- Passing relevant FCA exams if required by management
- Knowledge of hedging as applied and required by a precious metals business
- Established relationships with relevant market players, including customers and suppliers
- Knowledge of key markets in the region, products, and prevailing prices
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) in English & Russian (Essential)
- Keen to generate new business ideas
- Effective planning, organization, and time management skills
- Commercial awareness
