Job description

We are seeking an exceptional individual based in the UAE to join our dynamic Sales team as a Pre-Sales Consultant. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strong technical skills, deep domain knowledge, sales expertise, and relevant industry experience, especially in fraud and financial crime prevention within the Financial Services sector.

The Pre-Sales Consultant will work closely with sales, professional services, product management, operations, and engineering teams to identify customer needs, ensure product alignment, and propose solutions that meet customer requirements and surpass business decision-maker expectations.

The candidate should understand BioCatch's business objectives and collaborate with sales account executives to drive revenue by owning the value proposition and technical success, before seamlessly transitioning responsibilities to the delivery team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct detailed discovery sessions with customers to uncover their needs, drivers, dependencies, and challenges.
  • Deliver presentations, customized demos, working sessions, and scoping meetings to qualify deals from a technical perspective.
  • Collaborate with solution architects to design and document customer solutions with their buy-in.
  • Provide expert guidance on integrating BioCatch solutions into customer decision-making processes.
  • Scope and document technical solutions and project plans to meet prospective customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to validate the technical and commercial feasibility of proposed solutions.
  • Secure commitments from customer technical staff to ensure solutions meet technical requirements necessary for closing deals.
  • Define Proof of Concepts with clear success criteria and guide the delivery team to achieve these objectives.
  • Contribute insights to the development of business cases.
  • Lead responses to RFIs and RFPs with detailed and compelling answers.
  • Work with customer InfoSec and BioCatch technical teams to successfully respond to security questionnaires.
  • Engage regularly with internal and external customers to provide thought leadership and business expertise.
  • Participate in conferences for speaking engagements, brand building, lead generation, and personal branding.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Must reside in the UAE and possess necessary work permits.
  • At least 5 years of pre-sales consulting experience in fraud, financial crime, or related technology sectors working with top-tier banks, or 5+ years in a senior fraud management role at a large bank.
  • Passion for working with innovative technology and an entrepreneurial mindset suitable for a fast-growing startup.
  • Preferred experience with enterprise architectures and AI solutions.
  • Deep understanding of fraud prevention, AML, and financial crime landscapes.
  • Basic knowledge of security frameworks.
  • Understanding of analytical techniques and the limitations of statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to create tailored market-facing presentations.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills to identify customer needs, assess risks, and develop appropriate solutions.
