SymphonyAI is seeking an experienced Presales Consultant passionate about selling ITSM, ESM, ITAM, Service Automation, Agentic AI, and Co-Pilot business solutions. The role involves close collaboration with sales, engineering, and product teams to ensure technical solutions meet customer needs. The Presales Consultant will lay the groundwork for customer acquisition and support clients throughout the sales process.

The primary focus of the Pre-Sales Consultant includes prospecting, responding to RFPs, developing proposals, ensuring technical compliance, delivering presentations and demos, and selling SymphonyAI’s solutions, with an emphasis on research and validation. The candidate should possess excellent technical, sales negotiation, and relationship-building skills to exceed sales targets.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  1. Driving technical solutions quickly and effectively to meet customer requirements with a strong customer focus.
  2. Demonstrating ITSM, ESM, ITAM, Service Automation, Agentic AI, and Co-Pilot products effectively to audiences with varied technical knowledge.
  3. Staying current on product developments, releases, and competitive analysis to inform presentations, demos, and POCs.
  4. Understanding business and technical problems addressed by solutions, including regulations, business drivers, security, and evolving needs.
  5. Managing sales processes and strategic account planning.
  6. Assisting sales teams in qualifying customer needs and conducting pre-demo needs analysis.
  7. Delivering product demonstrations, both standard and tailored, onsite and via WebEx.
  8. Creating demo scripts and scenarios, maintaining demonstration environments.
  9. Ensuring solutions align with client requirements and best practices in Statements of Work.
  10. Responding to RFI and RFP processes and supporting sales closure.
  11. Providing feedback to Product Managers based on client interactions.
  12. Keeping abreast of market trends, product, and competitor landscapes.
  13. Supporting marketing events such as conferences, trade shows, and webinars.
  14. Collaborating with development and implementation teams to deliver suitable solutions.
  15. Traveling regionally to meet clients and partners.
  16. Being self-motivated, technology enthusiast, and innovative.

Qualifications:

  1. ITIL V3 / 2011 proficiency or Expert certification, with excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  2. Minimum 8+ years of presales experience in ITSM, ESM, ITAM, Service Automation, Agentic AI, Co-Pilot solutions like ServiceNow, BMC, Fresh Service, ManageEngine.
  3. Hands-on experience with tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Fresh Service, ManageEngine is desirable.
  4. Strong technical expertise in web technologies, with the ability to learn new technologies.
  5. Understanding of infrastructure, network, and database concepts.
  6. Knowledge of scripting and application development technologies like Java, .Net, JavaScript.
  7. Experience supporting large-scale ServiceNow bids in bid and presales environments.
  8. Proven ability to support sales teams in winning new business.
  9. Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and presentation skills.
  10. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
