Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Vehicle Inspection Specialist in Abu Dhabi to perform thorough pre-purchase inspections of cars, SUVs, and light commercial vehicles. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as automotive technician, mechanic, or vehicle inspector.
• Valid driving license and clean driving record.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre-purchase inspections of passenger cars, SUVs, and light commercial vehicles (150+ inspection points).
• Inspect body and paint for accidents, repairs, rust, and panel gaps using a paint gauge.
• Assess engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and cooling systems for wear or faults.
• Run OBD-II diagnostics to read fault codes and live data.
• Check electrical systems, lighting, infotainment, climate control, and safety features.
• Evaluate interior condition and signs of flood or fire damage.
• Inspect tires, wheels, and undercarriage; conduct road tests for performance and handling.
• Verify VIN, service history, and mileage to detect tampering; prepare structured reports.
