Job summary

NSR Associates in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Pre-Construction Engineer to lead development of construction methodologies, logistics strategies, and temporary works planning during pre-construction of major building projects.

You will coordinate with design, planning and commercial teams, review tender submissions, and ensure buildability and safe site access for complex schemes across the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in UAE/GCC construction with main contractors on large projects.
• Expertise in logistics, crane planning, temporary works and sequencing.
• Strong buildability, excavation and structural construction knowledge.
• Experience preparing technical tenders and delivery strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of site logistics strategies and access plans.
• Prepare crane strategies, lifting plans and heavy lifting methodologies.
• Coordinate temporary works including formwork and stability requirements.
• Develop construction methodologies and phasing plans for complex projects.
• Collaborate with design, planning, commercial and delivery teams to identify risks and value engineering.
