Job summary

BlackStone eIT in Dubai is seeking an experienced BI Developer to design and deliver Power BI reports and dashboards across the business.

You will model data, implement DAX, connect to SQL sources, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into actionable insights. A strong visualization sense and clear communication are essential.

Experience with data warehousing, ETL concepts, and Power Query is highly valued, along with ability to optimize reports for performance and user adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Service, Power Query, and SQL.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, and ETL.

Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard Development: Design and build user-friendly Power BI reports, dashboards, and visual elements.
• Data Modeling: Clean, shape, and model raw data using Power Query and data modeling best practices.
• DAX Calculations: Write Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for advanced aggregate, date, logical, and table calculations.
• Data Integration: Connect Power BI securely to various data sources like SQL databases, cloud services, and Excel.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical BI solutions.
• Optimization: Monitor and optimize report performance, data flows, and dashboard

• Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query (M language), and SQL.
• Core Knowledge: Solid understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
