Job summary

Dicetek LLC is seeking an experienced BI/Analytics Reporting Specialist to design, develop, deploy, and maintain analytical reports, MIS dashboards, and data visualizations to support business decision-making. The role emphasizes Power BI expertise and SAP BI tools, with strong SQL skills and an admin/security focus.

Responsibilities include data modelling, performance tuning, and managing report distribution, while ensuring secure, organized access control and governance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience creating analytical reports and MIS dashboards.
• Strong SQL skills; PL/SQL a plus.
• Experience with SAP BI tools including SAP Business Objects.
• Knowledge of data modelling concepts (schemas, facts, dimensions).
• Familiarity with Power BI Fabric is beneficial.
• Awareness of AI-driven features is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain analytical reports, dashboards, and data visualizations on Power BI.
• Manage report scheduling, delivery, and performance tuning.
• Admin activities: user/group management, RBAC, and security model maintenance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into BI solutions.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced BI / Analytics Reporting Specialist responsible for the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of analytical, MIS reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business decision-making.

The role requires strong expertise in Power BI and SAP BI Tools, along with database and reporting knowledge.

• Design, develop, and maintain analytical reports, MIS dashboards, and data visualizations using the PowerBI platform to meet business requirements.
• Apart from On-Prem tool knowledge , expertise with the Power BI Fabric ensuring optimal use of platform capabilities is mandatory.
• Perform data modelling efficiently , including schema design, attributes, facts, and hierarchies.
• Develop complex application objects, including metrics, filters, groups and consolidations.
• Manage report scheduling, distribution, and performance tuning.
• Admin knowledge is mandatory to perform Power BI administration activities, including:
• User and group management
• Role-based access control
• object-level permissions
• Maintain a well-organized security model across the organization with proper segregation of roles and responsibilities.
• Audit Reporting
• Strong SQL knowledge is mandatory. PLSQL knowledge will be added advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience with SAP Business Objects tool is also mandatory, should be aware of admin and migration approaches with below tools.
