Job summary

BlackStone eIT in Dubai is seeking an experienced BI Developer to design and deliver Power BI reports and dashboards across the business.

You will model data, implement DAX, connect to SQL sources, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into actionable insights. A strong visualization sense and clear communication are essential.

Experience with data warehousing, ETL concepts, and Power Query is highly valued, along with ability to optimize reports for performance and user adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Service, Power Query, and SQL.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, and ETL.

Responsibilities

• Dashboard Development: Design and build user-friendly Power BI reports, dashboards, and visual elements.
• Data Modeling: Clean, shape, and model raw data using Power Query and data modeling best practices.
• DAX Calculations: Write DAX for advanced calculations and measures.
• Data Integration: Connect Power BI to SQL databases, cloud services, and Excel.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather requirements and translate needs into BI solutions.
• Optimization: Monitor and optimize report performance, data flows, and dashboards.
