Job summary

TASC Outsourcing seeks a Power Distribution Operator in Ajman, UAE. You will track faults, coordinate operational activities during shifts and ensure smooth shift handovers, while preparing daily shift and operational reports for management.

The ideal candidate has electrical/power background, 0–4 years of experience in power distribution operations, and strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills to support safe, reliable network performance.

Qualifications

• Technical High School qualification or relevant electrical/power technical background.
• 0–4 years' experience in power-industry operations, maintenance or a related field.
• Understanding of electrical/power distribution operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a shift-based operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Track and follow up on faults, malfunctions and interruptions within the electricity distribution network.
• Coordinate operational and emergency activities during shifts.
• Ensure effective shift handover and takeover of pending operational activities.
• Prepare daily shift and operational reports.
• Handle and coordinate customer enquiries and complaints relating to power services.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, faults and system performance.
• Monitor operational performance indicators and support achievement of O&M targets.
• Coordinate with field/O&M teams for timely resolution of network issues.
• Support implementation of operational procedures, safety requirements and company policies.
