Job summary

Hill International, Inc. is expanding its team for a large-scale mixed-use development in the UAE. We seek a Power BI Expert & Report Writer to lead data modeling, DAX, and advanced Excel-based reporting with strong PMC/project controls background.

The ideal candidate will contribute hands-on Power BI development (3+ years), support executive reporting, and collaborate with Primavera P6 and cost systems to deliver reliable dashboards for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Data Modeling and DAX with advanced measures and calculated tables.
• Advanced Excel including Power Query and Power Pivot.
• Power BI development experience (minimum 3 years).
• Experience with PMC or project controls reporting environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Power BI reporting for large-scale mixed-use developments.
• Support executive/steering-committee reporting with dashboards and summaries.
• Ensure data governance, performance optimization, and security (RLS).
• Collaborate with PMIS, cost systems, and Primavera P6 for integrated reporting.

Job description

We are expanding our team for an exciting large-scale Mixed‑Use Development project in the UAE and are looking to engage a highly skilled professional for the role of Power BI Expert & Report Writer.

Qualifications and professional Experience

• Data Modeling & DAX (advanced measures, calculated tables) – Mandatory
• SQL for reporting and data extraction – Strongly Preferred
• Integration with Primavera P6 / cost systems (PMIS exposure) – Preferred
• Advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot) – Mandatory
• Power BI governance, performance optimization, and security (RLS) – Advantage
• Professional Experience in:
• PMC, or project controls reporting environment.
• Primavera P6, cost, schedule, risk, and change control
• 7+ years: Program Controls Manager
• At least 3 years hands‑on Power BI development Previous experience in project/program controls with PMC/Owner’s experience on major programs is highly recommended.
• Experience supporting executive or steering‑committee reporting
• Experience within large scale Infrastructure, Residential, Shopping Malls, Hotels, Resorts, Marine or Mixed Use Developments.
