Job summary

Terracotta Outsourcing in Abu Dhabi is recruiting an experienced Asset Manager for a major gas-fired power project. You will oversee commercial, financial, operational and governance aspects, coordinating with the owner/shareholder and external partners through construction to operations.

The role requires IPP/IWPP exposure, strong contract and financial modeling skills, and a proactive stakeholder-management approach. 12-month interim contract with office-based work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in utilities, power, energy infrastructure or construction.
• Strong asset management experience within power/utilities sector.
• IPP/IWPP experience and understanding of project contracts advantageous.
• Knowledge of PPA/PWPA arrangements and major project agreements.
• Strong commercial and contract management capabilities.
• Ability to interpret financial models and relate them to cash flow and budgets.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders; owner/shareholder-side preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as owner/shareholder representative for the assigned power generation asset.
• Monitor commercial, financial, operational, HSE and project performance.
• Prepare monthly asset performance reports for senior management.
• Review progress against budgets, obligations, milestones and KPIs.
• Maintain understanding of project agreements including PPA/PWPA.
• Review financial models and connect assumptions to cash flow and budgets.
• Support transition from construction/commissioning into operations.
• Monitor risks, obligations and mitigation actions.
• Assist onboarding of the O&M organization and related policies.
• Coordinate with internal functions and external stakeholders.
• Provide reporting and recommendations to support decision-making.
