HDD is seeking a Segment Manager – Coatings to own the growth, positioning, and commercial performance of the Powder Coatings segment across the Group's territories, coordinating with country Sales teams and the R&D team to translate market needs into competitive products and growth initiatives.

The role combines strategic leadership, market intelligence, and cross-functional coordination across Sales, Marketing, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver targets and expand into new markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant commercial experience, preferably within powder coatings, wood coatings, industrial coatings, paints & coatings, or a closely related industry.
• Proven understanding of the Powder or Wood Coatings market, applicators and OEM channels, coating systems, finishes, application requirements, and competitive landscape.
• Proven experience in sales development, key account management, market expansion, or category/segment management, with demonstrated ability to lead or coordinate technical/R&D resources.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the Coatings segment strategy, annual objectives, sales targets, and growth priorities across territories.
• Monitor revenue, volume, margin, customer, channel, and product performance; address gaps with local Sales teams through focused corrective actions.
• Identify and assess new markets, channels, customer segments, and partnerships based on commercial potential and competitive positioning.
• Work with country Sales Managers and local teams to deliver market targets and support strategic customer meetings, negotiations, product introductions, and business development.
• Coordinate with R&D, Technical Services and other functions to ensure product competitiveness and timely delivery of solutions.
• Act as the central point of coordination for the segment across Sales, Marketing, R&D, Technical Services, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Product Management, and Finance.
