Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in coating or manufacturing is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in powder coating or a related manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with powder coating equipment and processes, including electrostatic spray technology.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, as well as stand for extended periods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including work orders and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance in every aspect of the job.
• Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment and process issues effectively.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure powder coating equipment ensuring optimal settings for different materials and finishes
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and masking components to achieve a high-quality powder finish
• Mix and test powder coatings to ensure consistency and adherence to specifications before application
• Operate powder coating machines monitoring the process closely for any deviations or issues
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficiency
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance checking for defects such as uneven coverage or improper curing
• Document production data including batch numbers and application parameters for quality control and traceability
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and resolve any operational challenges
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations ensuring a safe working environment
• Continuously seek improvements in processes and techniques to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
