Offer Description

Job Purpose

We seek a Postdoctoral researcher in machine learning and blockchain technology to join our 3-year funded project, "Optimized Secure Machine Learning in Decentralized Networks: Integrating Homomorphic Encryption, SMPC, and Differential Privacy." The position requires a strong computer science background with good programming and communication skills. Experience in machine learning and blockchain technology is needed. The candidate will be required to:

• Provide high-quality research support and undertake internationally competitive research aimed at publication, contributing to the academic and research mission of the University.
• Since the Postdoctoral is transitional to becoming an independent researcher or faculty member, the candidate will acquire skills such as presenting research plans and findings convincingly in oral and written forms, understanding research group management, supervising others, establishing professional contacts, and possibly organizing and teaching courses.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Assist PI and Co-PI in writing funding proposals.

Operational Responsibilities

• Involvement in research center activities, conference/workshop organization, meetings, literature searches, data organization, and conducting relevant investigations. The researcher will also engage in software development for the project.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Guide and supervise PhD and MSc students, as well as coordinate research engineers involved in the project.
