New York University Abu Dhabi seeks a Postdoctoral Associate in Resilient Concrete Structures to engage in cutting-edge research. The Center for Sand Hazards and Opportunities in Resilience, Energy, and Sustainability (SHORES) and the Division of Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi are seeking motivated postdoctoral associates to engage in cutting-edge research on resilient concrete structures. Key research areas include:
Candidates must hold a PhD in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Material Engineering. Degrees in related fields such as Nuclear Engineering or Material Science are also considered.
Required qualifications include excellent communication and presentation skills, a record of peer-reviewed publications, and experience mentoring undergraduate or graduate students. Additional qualifications that are advantageous include:
The successful candidates will work in a multidisciplinary environment, conducting innovative experimental, analytical, and computational research. Responsibilities include publishing in scientific journals, mentoring students, and contributing to research grant proposals.
