Job description

The Center for Sand Hazards and Opportunities in Resilience Energy and Sustainability (SHORES) seeks to recruit a Postdoctoral Associate to work in the field of geotechnical engineering.

Required Qualifications:

• A PhD in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
• Focus on one or more of the following areas:
• Artificial intelligence applications in geotechnical engineering
• Bioremediation and geoenvironmental engineering
• Geohazards risk assessment and management via remote sensing
• Energy geotechnics
• Advanced experimental testing and field instrumentation

Research Project:

The successful applicant will lead a project aimed at designing and managing efficient, environmentally friendly infrastructure and energy systems. The Postdoctoral Associate will work in a multidisciplinary environment with researchers, graduate students, and undergraduates. The role includes documenting research progress through scientific publications in reputable journals.
