The Center for Interacting Urban Networks, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Postdoctoral Researcher to support a project studying the Center's research theme, Uncertainty.

If you have experience and wish to explore how to build systems (both foundational and applied) that can handle uncertain or incomplete data prevalent in urban decision-making scenarios, please apply. A PhD dissertation or research papers demonstrating a strong interest and research focus in risk analysis or minimization, robust optimization, deep learning for systems, probabilistic data management, or decision-making in uncertain environments are prerequisites. Successful candidates will also demonstrate the capacity to lead independent research with guidance and to drive foundational computational research from applications and vice versa.

The position requires the ability to collaborate with other researchers on themes such as Mobility and Fairness and contribute to a comprehensive understanding of urban systems.
