Job summary

Careers International in Dubai is seeking a detail‑oriented HSE Data Analyst to support port safety initiatives. You will assist in analysing port HSE data (incidents, near-misses, KPIs) and help in risk assessments using HIRA, JSA, Bowtie and HAZOP, contributing to safer operations.

You will help improve safety workflows such as PTW for hot work and confined spaces, collaborate with terminal teams, support Power BI dashboards and reporting for HSE metrics, and assist in documenting for ISO

Qualifications

Knowledge of port HSE standards (ISPS, ISM, OSHA, IMO).
Understanding of terminal operations and cargo-handling workflows.
Familiarity with risk assessment methods (HIRA, JSA, Bowtie, HAZOP).
Basic experience analysing HSE or operational data.
Exposure to Power BI or similar dashboarding tools.
Familiarity with TOS / EHS systems used in ports is a plus.
Good documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in analysing port HSE data (incidents, near-misses, KPIs).
Support risk assessments using HIRA, JSA, Bowtie, HAZOP.
Help improve safety workflows including Permit-to-Work (PTW) for hot work, confined spaces, and electrical tasks.
Work with terminal teams to understand operational processes.
Support Power BI dashboards and reporting for HSE metrics.
Prepare documentation for ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 audits.
Assist in optimising HSE processes in terminals.
Learn to convert operational and safety data into actionable insights.
