Jumeirah Al Qasr in Dubai is seeking a Pool Technician to join our luxury 5-star property. You will maintain and balance pool chemistry, perform routine cleaning and equipment checks, and respond to guest or operational inquiries with professionalism.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a similar role on a luxury property, strong technical trade skills, safety knowledge, and fluency in English. UAE experience is desirable; join our world-class hospitality team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in a similar role on a luxury 5-star property; UAE experience desirable.
• Secondary education required; vocational certification and trade qualification preferred.
• Strong technical skills in trade, basic computer literacy, and knowledge of safety and building systems.
• Proficient in English, able to work independently and adapt to diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Review pool-related requests, bring tools to site, assess conditions and perform tasks accordingly.
• Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment checks.
• Respond to inquiries, provide pool-related information, and resolve guest or operational concerns.
• Complete work orders, preventive maintenance, and corrective assignments as directed.
• Record materials from engineering store and log all tasks; report damages outside scope to team leaders with solutions.

About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pool Technician to join Jumeirah Al Qasr.The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

Review and understand pool-related requests, bring relevant tools to the site, assess conditions, and carry out tasks accordingly

Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment checks to ensure pools remain safe and operational

Respond politely to inquiries, provide pool-related information, and resolve guest or operational concerns promptly

Complete work orders, preventive maintenance, and corrective assignments as directed

Use proper materials from the engineering store and record all collected items accurately

Keep logs of all tasks completed, and report damages or issues outside scope to team leaders with recommended solutions

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• One or two years of experience in the same role with a luxury 5-star property; experience in the UAE is desirable.
• Secondary education required; vocational certification and trade qualification preferred.
• Strong technical skills in trade, basic computer literacy, and knowledge of safety and building systems.
• Proficient in English, able to work independently and adapt to diverse environments.
