Ensures the safety of guests and associates within the designated swimming areas during posted business hours.
Qualifications:
- Life Guard certification and authorization to conduct AR and CPR.
- First Aid Training.
- Pool & Beach Access.
Responsibilities:
- Setup and maintain safety equipment at the beach/pool, including life-saving floatation devices, correct flag placement, rescue surfboard/boat readiness, first aid kit, and posting of relevant information (business hours, pool depth, water & air temperatures, wind force & wind speed).
- Keep designated swimming areas free of engine-driven boats, windsurfers, and sea bikes (pedalos).
- Ensure swimmers/snorkelers are out of boat tracks or hazardous areas.
- Supervise water sports activities, including logging guest participation and monitoring water activities.
- Respond to emergencies within hotel resort swimming areas, ensuring rescue boat availability at all times.
- Ensure all water and pool activities comply with security and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Deliver prompt and courteous service, maintaining a positive guest experience and cleanliness.
- Assist in serving, communication with kitchen, and guest interaction to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain motivated and well-trained staff.
- Open and close shifts following the Manager's Checklist.
- Train, maintain, and enforce all service standards.
- Manage revenue and check control procedures.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for guests and staff.
- Prepare tools for shifts (schedules, floor plans, reservations, checks).
- Resolve daily operational issues such as call-outs and last-minute bookings.
- Oversee guest service during meal periods, ensuring quality and coverage.
- Ensure proper uniform standards for staff.
- Manage repair and maintenance programs.
- Rotate stations fairly and handle associate relations.
- Assist staff performance and training initiatives.
- Promote effective communication and fair disciplinary procedures.
- Identify and suggest incentive programs and operational improvements.
