Responsibilities

• Produire et réparer le polyuréthane à l'aide de moules variés.
• Effectuer des tests sur les outils et moules.
• Gérer l'inventaire du stock de polyuréthane.

Job description

PipeCare Group has been helping customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. We are seeking an experienced Polyurethane Technician capable of understanding design drawings, knowledgeable about chemicals involved in molding polyurethane, and able to plan effectively to deliver polyurethane on time to meet target dates.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities

• Produce and repair polyurethane using different molds.
• Possess adequate knowledge of AutoCAD to draw templates.
• Test tools, dies, jigs, or molds to ensure proper operation.
• Set up and operate various casting machines to produce polyurethane products.
• Position, secure, measure, and work with polyurethane stock or castings for machining.
• Create layouts, shapes, and assemble patterns of plastic and other materials from blueprints, models, or templates.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Monitor PU chemical store temperature daily.
• Keep the PU stock inventory up to date.

Skills & Experience

• DAE in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or other disciplines like Electronics or Mechanical Engineering with relevant industry experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and maneuver within a refinery or plant environment, including accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
• Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing to communicate effectively.
• Ability to focus and multitask effectively.
• Must wear safety equipment as required for personal protection.
• Sufficient mobility and reflexes to perform duties and travel to off-site locations as needed.
