Job Description
- Develop and implement a comprehensive PMV strategy aligned with Emarat Aloula objectives.
- Ensure proper inventory management of all PMV assets, including their location, status, and condition.
- Evaluate and recommend new equipment, machinery, and vehicle purchases based on project requirements and budgets.
- Expertise in ERP systems, such as Oracle.
- Oversee the procurement and management of Plant, Machinery, and Vehicles (PMV) to ensure optimal operational efficiency while adhering to budget constraints.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all PMV assets to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of PMV equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess PMV needs for various projects and align resources accordingly.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on PMV usage, performance metrics, and maintenance activities to inform stakeholders and drive strategic decisions.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers to secure competitive pricing and high-quality service for PMV procurement.
- Implement inventory management systems for PMV parts and supplies to ensure availability while minimizing excess inventory costs.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on proper PMV operation and maintenance procedures to enhance safety and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in PMV technology to recommend upgrades and improvements as necessary.
- Manage budgets and forecasts related to PMV operations, ensuring financial accountability and resource optimization.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing plant, machinery, and vehicles, preferably in the construction or oil & gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, heavy equipment, and vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with local regulations and compliance requirements in the UAE.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Project Manager (CPM) or similar credentials will be highly regarded.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software, Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle, etc.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in the UAE or GCC region.
- Certifications in maintenance management or related fields are a plus (e.g., CMMS, Six Sigma).
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and fuel efficiency optimization.
