PMO & VRO Analyst

We are looking for a PMO & VRO Analyst to join one of our clients in the UAE. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring project governance, standardization, and value realization across Digital and business projects. The analyst will support project planning, tracking, and reporting while ensuring alignment with PMO standards and best practices. Additionally, they will assist in identifying, measuring, and reporting value realization from projects and operational improvements.

Project Management Office (PMO) Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and frameworks in all projects.
  2. Support project managers in initiating, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting using standardized templates and tools.
  3. Track and monitor project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
  4. Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and reports, providing visibility on project health and status.
  5. Support governance meetings, including steering committees and project review boards, by preparing reports and capturing key decisions.
  6. Assist in the development and continuous improvement of project management policies, processes, and tools.
  7. Ensure project compliance with financial, resource, and timeline constraints while maintaining quality standards.
  8. Coaching and mentoring project managers.
  9. Ensure that projects have tangible success criteria in place prior to go-live.
  10. Ensure projects follow change management standards in case of project changes.
  11. Quality assure existing projects to ensure that they meet the standards regarding success criteria, outcomes, and benefits.
  12. Measuring and monitoring performance via KPIs and tracking value realization through data and analytics.
  13. Analyzing performance data to identify trends and support action plans for offtrack performance indicators.

Value Realization Office (VRO) Responsibilities:

  1. Support the identification, tracking, and reporting of benefits realization for Digital and business projects.
  2. Work closely with business stakeholders to measure and validate efficiency gains, cost savings, and other realized benefits.
  3. Ensure alignment of value realization metrics with financial records and corporate strategy.
  4. Provide insights through value tracking dashboards and reports to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.
  5. Assist in developing models for calculating savings (e.g., FTE savings, revenue growth, cost avoidance) and integrating them into project evaluations.
  6. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure realized benefits are reflected in financial statements where applicable.
  7. Support change management efforts to drive adoption and maximize value from implemented solutions.
  8. Development of the analysis on the Return on the Investment in the new Digital solution.
  9. Work with project teams/Product Owners to articulate the product value in accordance.
  10. Provide input to the overall recalculation of value and ensure continuous updates to the related tracking mechanisms.
  11. Capability of articulating business processes and developing all the templates required to conduct the value realization exercise.
  12. Develop all VRO reports and dashboards required for better feasibility and analysis.
  13. Linking operational and business performance metrics to productivity and financial outcomes.
  14. Support data-driven analysis and insights to help support business strategies by evaluating ongoing analytical needs.
