Job summary

John Wood Group PLC is seeking an experienced PMC Specialist Planning Engineer to support the ADNOC Offshore Umm Shaif Gas Cap Phase 1 Onshore Project. You will manage planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, forecasting and schedule assurance to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with ADNOC requirements.

You will coordinate with the PMC, ADNOC and EPC Contractor teams, provide timely reporting and schedule analysis, identify risks and develop recovery plans to keep the project on track

Qualifications

• Experience in project controls and schedule management for large energy projects.
• Ability to develop, maintain and control integrated project schedules.
• Strong reporting, analytics and recovery planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor project execution across all phases.
• Provide schedule analysis, forecasting and progress reporting to PMC and ADNOC/Contractor teams.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC requirements and established procedures.
• Act as focal point for schedule management and schedule assurance.

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Specialist Planning Engineer to support the delivery of the ADNOC Offshore Umm Shaif Gas Cap Phase 1 Onshore Project (Packages 2 & 3). The role will be responsible for planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, performance analysis, forecasting, and schedule assurance throughout all phases of project execution.

The successful candidate will provide planning and project controls expertise to the PMC, ADNOC and EPC Contractor teams, ensuring effective development, maintenance and control of integrated project schedules. The role will act as the focal point for schedule management activities, supporting project leadership through timely reporting, schedule analysis, risk identification and recovery planning while ensuring compliance with ADNOC requirements, project procedures and industry best practices.
