Wood is currently recruiting for a PMC Senior Project Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and Gas industry for ADNOC Offshore client to be based in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract requirements for the assigned scope, ensuring EPC contractor compliance with HSE, Quality, Technical, Commercial, and Schedule requirements.
• Oversee all execution phase activities from contract award through project closeout.
• Monitor progress, conduct reviews, manage changes, and handle contract correspondence.
• Engage discipline engineers and project resources to complete work scope aligned with project objectives.
• Promote HSE goals of Zero Incidents; ensure contractor compliance with safety policies.
• Ensure completion of work scope in accordance with technical and commercial requirements, from detailed design to project closeout.
• Verify contractor work processes and adherence to specifications.
• Manage interfaces, review deliverables, and track purchase orders.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings, review and endorse changes, and prepare project correspondence.
• Ensure smooth transitions between project stages, coordinate external interfaces, and lead problem-solving activities.
• Lead project management systems application, report progress, and ensure lessons learned are captured.
• Support the development of UAE Nationals to assume leadership roles.

• Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree from an accredited institution
• 15+ years of experience in engineering, construction, and project management, or similar roles
• Multi-discipline skill set
• Understanding of project management standards and contract terms
• Knowledge of engineering, fabrication, construction, planning, resource management, and contract administration
• Experience working with EPC contractors, operating companies, or engineering consultants
• Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
