Wood is currently looking for a PMC Senior Pipeline Engineer to join our PMC team on an ADNOC Onshore project. This role will be based in the client office in Abu Dhabi city on a residential basis.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise a team of relevant discipline engineers
• Review pipeline alignment sheets
• Review and supervise pipeline design basis and stress analysis
• Review Pig launcher and receiver units and design, etc.
• Ensure application of correct standards in all FEED / EPC deliverables related to oil and gas processing, production, and export projects
• Develop local staff to fulfill engineering and management roles
• Understand environmental aspects (ISO14001) of oil and gas design
• Understand safety aspects of design related to project cycle (e.g., HAZID, HAZOP, HAZAN, IPF classification, reliability studies, Fire and Gas mapping, risk analysis)
• Prepare RFQ technical packages for pipeline scopes
• Estimate engineering, construction, and material costs; plan schedules and resources; update resource capacity biannually
• Provide engineering expertise in risers, subsea pipelines, landfalls, subsea manifolds, piping design, and subsea pipelines
• Coordinate with construction engineers and installation schemes
• Review procurement activities including specifications, datasheets, material requisitions, bid evaluations, and vendor documents for pipelines
• Review stress analysis of underground and surface-laid pipelines using CAESAR II software
• Prepare and review pipeline alignment sheets, crossing schedules, GADs, and schematic drawings
• Implement quality and HSE standards to meet industry benchmarks

Qualifications

• B.Sc. Engineering or higher
• At least 15 years of postgraduate experience
• Minimum 8 years in oil & gas, refining, or petrochemical industries
• At least 5 years experience in the GCC region (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years in a senior engineering role
