Wood is seeking an experienced Specialist Engineer, Telecom to oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of telecom systems on offshore platforms in the UAE. You will ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance across brownfield and greenfield projects.

The role collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams across FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, delivering engineering deliverables, drawings, and datasheets on time and within budget.

Competenze

• Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering field (Telecom/Electrical).
• Experience in offshore telecom systems design and maintenance.
• Knowledge of international standards and client requirements.

Mansioni

• Develop, review, and optimize telecom system designs for offshore/onshore facilities.
• Ensure telecom systems comply with project specifications and standards.
• Prepare engineering deliverables, drawings, datasheets, and specifications.
• Support project execution from FEED to commissioning.

The key objectives for this role are:

• Develop, review, and optimize telecommunications system designs for offshore/onshore oil & gas, energy, or industrial facilities.
• Ensure telecom systems comply with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards
• Prepare and review engineering deliverables, drawings, datasheets, and technical specifications
• Support project execution from FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure telecom engineering deliverables are completed within project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary engineering interfaces and resolve technical issues.
