Job summary

WOODplc in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to provide electrical engineering expertise and technical oversight within the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for ADNOC oil and gas projects.

You will ensure EPC contractor activities comply with ADNOC standards and project specifications across FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and startup phases.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering expertise and technical oversight within the PMC team for ADNOC oil and gas projects.
• Ensure electrical activities by EPC contractors comply with ADNOC standards, project specs, and international codes.
• Support project execution from FEED to start-up while ensuring safety, quality, cost efficiency and schedule adherence.

Job description

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer for our Engineering team in Abu Dhabi within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at our office in Abu Dhabi.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a proven track record in the detailed design of ADNOC projects.

Job Objective

Provide electrical engineering expertise and technical oversight within the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for ADNOC oil and gas projects. Ensure that all electrical engineering activities performed by EPC contractors comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications, applicable international codes, and industry best practices. Support project execution throughout FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases while ensuring safety, quality, cost efficiency, and schedule adherence.
