Job Description
Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Lead Piping Engineer for our ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi as part of our Piping team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business.
Due to the nature of the projects and client expectations, the position will be based full-time at our client ADNOC office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities
- Promote adherence to discipline-specific procedures and provide feedback for improvement
- Support development and delivery of the technical assurance framework
- Monitor compliance with competence standards
- Participate in incident investigations as required
- Set performance expectations for direct reports
- Maintain own competence and continuous development
- Provide discipline support to the business
- Ensure learning opportunities are captured and utilized
- Understand relevant regulatory frameworks and legislation
- Oversee piping engineering work by EPC contractors for major projects
- Foster effective communication within EPC engineering teams for safe, cost-effective designs
- Attend progress meetings and generate status reports
- Resolve technical piping engineering problems
- Deliver quality work on schedule
- Possess excellent knowledge of piping discipline requirements and standards

Expected Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant offshore/onshore oil & gas industry experience
- At least 5 years in a similar leadership role managing teams
- Experience in offshore EPC projects is essential; ADNOC experience is a plus
- Experience working in multi-project environments across all engineering phases
- Previous Middle East experience is advantageous
