John Wood Group PLC in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced PMC Lead Packages Engineer to lead and coordinate engineering teams for high-profile projects in the oil, gas and energy sectors. The role focuses on mechanical packaged equipment design, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and working closely with EPC contractors and site interfaces.

The candidate will conduct regular technical reviews and drive timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for mechanical packaged equipment design.
• Coordinate, monitor and manage packaging design with EPC Contractor per project schedule.
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
• Collaborate with IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering/Operation/Site interface to resolve issues and ensure quality.
• Conduct regular technical reviews of deliverables to ensure design quality and standards.

Job Objective

• Provide technical expertise in all mechanical Packaged Equipment design
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
• Coordinate, Monitor and handle Packaged equipment design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation and complete the same within the time frame
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity etc.
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Mechanical Packaged Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
