Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Interface Manager to oversee complex interfaces across client, EPC contractors, and vendors for high-profile oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The role emphasizes timely delivery, safety, and quality within budget constraints.

The candidate will lead the development of the Interface Management Plan, establish procedures, and coordinate engineering efforts across disciplines to resolve conflicts and ensure timely information exchange.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Master’s Degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 20+ years of oil & gas project experience.
• At least 5–7 years in Interface Management on large EPC/EPCM/PMC projects.
• Experience on ADNOC or similar Middle East mega projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Interface Management Plan.
• Establish interface procedures, workflows, and communication protocols.
• Define responsibilities and ownership for each interface.
• Create, maintain, and update the Interface Register.
• Track interface issues, action items, dependencies, and closure status.
• Ensure timely resolution of all open interface matters.
• Coordinate interactions among client, contractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Facilitate effective communication across all project participants.
• Act as the primary contact for interface-related matters.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities.
• Ensure design information is exchanged accurately and on time.
• Resolve design conflicts between civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process disciplines.
• Manage interfaces between multiple contractors working in shared areas.

The key objectives for this role are:

• Coordinate communication between the Client, PMC, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure all parties understand their responsibilities and interface requirements.
• Facilitate coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operations, and HSE teams.
• Identify and resolve inter-discipline conflicts before they impact project progress.

Responsibilities

• Experience managing interfaces across multiple contractors and disciplines.
