This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMC Commissioning Lead - Instrumentation & Control with a proven track record in overseeing the commissioning process of instrumentation and control systems, ensuring they are fully functional and meet project requirements before operational start-up for a high-profile client.

The Key Objectives For This Role Are

• Develop detailed commissioning plans and procedures for instrumentation and control systems
• Oversee testing and validation to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Identify and resolve issues during commissioning
• Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and regulations
• Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders for seamless commissioning and handover

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate personal HSE leadership and behaviors, setting high safety standards
• Support contractor commissioning engineers in preparing and executing System Completion Plans
• Assist EPC contractors in developing system completion plans aligning with project specifications
• Review and edit contractor pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures
• Support site commissioning teams during fabrication and at site, focusing on interfaces and tie-ins
• Identify and address technical interface issues early
• Manage temporary commissioning interfaces and ensure their proper address
• Support systems completion database activities and interface testing ownership
• Contribute to project cost and schedule planning with commissioning inputs
• Assist UZ-750 Commissioning Manager with reporting and progress tracking; stand in during leaves
• Maintain communication with project and contractor teams and follow through to final acceptance, including offshore work during construction and commissioning phases

• Degree in Instrumentation/Control Systems Engineering with at least 15 years of Oil and Gas industry experience, including 5+ years on major capital projects (> USD 500M) focused on pre-commissioning and commissioning
• Experience in operating companies managing turnarounds or brownfield projects is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Experience managing interfaces between contractors or between contractor and operating company
• Knowledge of at least one systems completion database
• Willingness to travel extensively and adapt work location as needed
• Qualified to obtain CICPA and UAE work visa
