Job summary

Atlantis, The Palm is seeking a Plumber Technician to maintain domestic water, drainage, sanitary, and plumbing systems across the luxury resort. Responsibilities include preventive/corrective maintenance, leak repair, fittings replacement, and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires 1–3 years in hotel plumbing, ability to read drawings, and flexibility for rotating shifts, with excellent teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• ITI, Trade Certificate, or Diploma in Plumbing or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in plumbing maintenance within hotels or similar facilities.
• Knowledge of domestic water, drainage, hot water, sanitary systems, pumps, valves, and fixtures.
• Ability to read basic plumbing drawings and piping layouts.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing tools, equipment, and maintenance techniques.
• Understanding of health, safety, and permit-to-work procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Diagnose and repair water leakages, blockages, valves, pumps, and fixtures.
• Install, replace, and maintain pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures.
• Carry out routine inspections and report defects.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Assist with pipe modifications, shutdowns, and commissioning.
• Conduct flushing and water hygiene activities as directed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe condition.
• Complete maintenance records and inspection reports accurately.
• Follow Health, Safety, and Permit-to-Work procedures.
• Coordinate with other trades to ensure timely completion.
• Support water conservation and training for Technician roles.
