The purpose of this role is to carry out preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on plumbing pipework equipment and systems, including integral and standalone pumps, either individually or as part of a technical team within a designated area of Dubai Airports. Ensure minimal disruption to airport operations.
Adhere to all technical and safety instructions in accordance with Dubai Airports' policies and procedures.
Technically supervise and lead a team of general plumbing tradesmen and helpers to ensure tasks are completed correctly and safely within the designated area.
Qualifications:
- High School Certificate.
- Industrial Training Institute Diploma (3-year duration) in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Maintenance or equivalent (post-high school).
- IOSH Working Safely Certificate or equivalent.
- Valid UAE driving license.
Experience:
Minimum five (5) years of experience within a Facility Management or similar environment.
Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English with staff, stakeholders, and customers.
- Proficiency in constructing technical reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to perform safe and correct work on complex plumbing equipment and pipework systems.
- Perform safety isolations and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO).
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PM) routines.
- Execute corrective maintenance (CM) and breakdown maintenance (BD).
- Knowledge of potable water pipework systems and associated valves.
- Experience with washroom sanitary fixtures and fittings.
- Understanding of pressure reducing valve stations (PRVs), heat exchangers, and calorifier equipment.
- Familiarity with aircraft potable water systems and associated valves.
- Experience with storage-type water heaters.
- Knowledge of high-temperature hot water (HTHW) pipework systems and valves.
- Experience with chilled water pumps (CWP) systems and valves.
- Understanding of sewage and stormwater pump systems and pipework.
Additional Requirements:
- Adhere to all safety requirements to ensure health, safety, and welfare of self and others.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor/duty engineer.
- Basic knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Ability to read and interpret pipework schematics and system layout drawings.
- Competence in setting up and interpreting test equipment results.

- Digital Multimeter (earth bond continuity)
