Job summary

Andaz Dubai The Palm is seeking a qualified Plumber to join our Engineering team. In this role you will perform plumbing maintenance, repairs and preventive tasks to support hotel operations and guest comfort.

The ideal candidate has hotel or large-building plumbing experience, knowledge of piping systems, pool/spa water treatment, and the ability to work with central plant equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years work experience as Plumber in a hotel or large building/complex with central plant.
• Special skills required on Pipe fittings, brazing and gas cutting.
• Experience in maintenance of swimming pool plants, spa equipment and water chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Provide plumbing maintenance, repairs and preventive maintenance to support hotel operations.
• Assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the Engineering Department.
• Support other departments with plumbing-related needs.

Summary

The Plumber is responsible for assisting in the smooth and efficient operation of the Engineering Department by carrying out plumbing maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance in support of all other operating departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years work experience as Plumber in a Hotel or in a similar large building/complex with central plant; Special skills required on Pipe fittings, brazing and gas cutting.
• Experience in maintenance of the swimming pool plants, spa equipment's and water chemistry.
• Should understand installation/replacement of piping systems including hot and cold water, drain lines, steam and gas lines.
