Job summary

Remotedxb in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to mentor junior testers and drive automation initiatives. You will design and run automated scripts using Selenium, Playwright, and NodeJS-based stacks, while aligning with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.

You will set up frameworks in AWS/Azure, test APIs via gateways and cloud services, and collaborate with manual testers to maximize automation value for robust QA of complex web apps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience developing automated test scripts with ReactJS and NodeJS.
• Proficient with Selenium, Playwright, Jest, Mocha or Chai.
• 5+ years setting up test automation frameworks in AWS or Azure.
• Experience testing APIs via gateways and cloud services.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Experience developing automated tests for complex Java-based web apps.

Responsibilities

• Guide junior or mid-level testers through mentoring and code reviews
• Lead automation initiatives and framework enhancements
• Setup and configure test automation frameworks in cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
• Facilitate CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
• Design, develop, and run automated test scripts in the cloud
• Develop test procedures to validate requirements and capabilities
• Work with manual testers to prioritize automation value
• Manage and execute tests using NUnit and TestNG
