A leading company is hiring a Plant Operator cum Electrical Technician in Dubai. The role involves operating machines, monitoring production logs, maintaining equipment, and conducting basic electrical troubleshooting. Candidates should have an ITI/Diploma in a relevant field and 2-5 years of experience in plant operations.
We are hiring skilled and safety-conscious Plant Operator cum Electrical Technicians to join our plant operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine operations and basic electrical troubleshooting, preferably in a manufacturing or batching plant environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate machines and plant systems in accordance with SOPs and work instructions
Monitor and maintain production logs, checklists, and equipment records on a daily/weekly basis
Participate in preventive maintenance and attend to machine breakdowns
Adhere to all safety procedures and operational guidelines
Record machine parameters, settings, and operating conditions accurately
Perform minor mechanical fixes and adjustments to machine parts
Coordinate with the Shift Supervisor for plant-related issues
Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting for control panels and process instruments
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field
2–5 years of experience in plant/machine operations, preferably in batching or manufacturing plants
Hands-on experience with SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems is a plus
Strong understanding of electrical safety and instrumentation basics
Ability to read technical manuals and interpret machine parameters
