Job summary

Dubai Municipality is seeking personnel to monitor gas treatment units, prevent leaks and odor emissions, and take immediate corrective actions to protect the environment and staff.

You will oversee maintenance for pumping stations and backup generators, log equipment readings, and ensure operators follow safety regulations and perform duties effectively.

Qualifications

• Educational qualification required: High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance of gas treatment units and prevent gas leaks or odor emissions.
• Take immediate corrective actions in the event of gas leaks or odor incidents to ensure environmental protection and safety of personnel.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for pumping stations and their backup power generators to ensure reliability.
• Record readings of pumping station equipment in designated logs to ensure proper maintenance and servicing.
• Ensure operators perform duties effectively, identify needs and obstacles, and comply with safety regulations.

• Continuously monitor the performance of gas treatment units and ensure that the necessary preventive measures are taken to prevent gas leaks or odor emissions.
• Take immediate corrective actions in the event of gas leaks or odor incidents to ensure environmental protection and the safety of personnel.
• Monitor preventive and corrective mechanical and electrical maintenance activities for pumping stations and oversee their operation to ensure their reliability and readiness, including supervising the testing and operation of backup power generators.
• Monitor and record readings of pumping station equipment and instruments in designated logs to ensure proper maintenance and timely servicing of equipment and devices.
• Ensure that operators perform their assigned duties effectively, identify operational needs and obstacles affecting workflow, take appropriate corrective actions, and ensure compliance with equipment handling procedures and safety regulations.
