Key Responsibilities :

• Strategic Leadership : Drive production, maintenance, and operational efficiency to achieve and surpass performance targets.
• Operational Oversight : Collaborate with the Works Manager to ensure seamless plant operations, from wet chip handling to pallet top cover production.
• Safety & Compliance : Identify risks, enforce stringent safety protocols, and ensure full adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Continuous Improvement : Implement process optimizations using the latest technologies to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Customer-Centric Focus : Work closely with the sales team to address feedback, uphold high-quality production standards, and boost customer satisfaction.
• Team Development : Lead and mentor a diverse workforce, fostering collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Conduct performance reviews and provide actionable feedback for team growth.
• Resource Management : Oversee inventory levels for raw materials, chemicals, and consumables, ensuring smooth operations.
• Performance Analysis : Leverage data to evaluate plant performance and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
• Reporting : Provide senior management with regular updates on plant performance, challenges, and progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical disciplines.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in continuous process industries.
• At least 8 years in a managerial role, ideally in MDF, Particle Board, or Ply board manufacturing.
• Technical Proficiency : Strong knowledge of pallet block manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Management Systems : Familiarity with ISO, IMS, TQM, TPM, and SPC frameworks.
• Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
• Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication to interact with stakeholders at all levels effectively.
• Analytical Abilities : Proficient in using QCS and advanced computer systems to drive operational efficiency.
