Job description

As the Plant HR Manager, you will be responsible for providing complete HR leadership for the upcoming greenfield project. This includes setting up HR, General Administration, Safety - Health, and Security - Vigilance functions in the Greenfield project and framing policies in these areas. Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, managing employee relations, and overseeing the entire employee lifecycle at the plant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / OBJECTIVES

Job Role: You will play a crucial role in establishing HR and Admin processes in the factory.

  • Be a key member of the plant leadership team, influencing and creating a performance-driven culture and a highly engaged workforce.
  • Drive initiatives to create a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Design and implement the appropriate organizational structure and recruitment strategies aligned with site objectives.
  • Identify and lead the implementation of best practices.
  • Create a culture of rewards, recognition, and performance across all levels.
  • Establish and manage training and induction programs for all employees during startup and stable operations.
  • Manage the administration functions including time office, payroll, attendance, canteen, and other infrastructure at the plant.
  • Oversee the PRO functions, working closely with the plant finance and control teams.

KEY SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

  • 8+ years of experience in HR managerial roles.
  • Experience working in Dubai in a plant setup, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Knowledge of Dubai labor laws and Emiratization requirements.
  • Strong educational background with a postgraduate degree and good academic record.
  • Experience managing a team in previous roles.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
