Job summary

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) seeks an Associate Manager - Plant Analysis (UAE Nationals only) to lead budgeting, planning, forecasting and management reporting for the Operations area. You will monitor capex and Opex, drive month-end closures, and coordinate with analysts to deliver accurate financial insights across the plant.

The role requires 6–8 years in financial planning and forecasting within a large manufacturing setting, with leadership experience and strong knowledge of accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CMS, CIMA or equivalent).
• In-depth knowledge of aluminum manufacturing sector and EGA’s products and business strategies.
• Knowledge of statutory and internal financial management standards.
• Knowledge of financial policies and procedures.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of industrial best practices, laws/regulations.
• Management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees financial planning and analysis policies, processes and controls for Operations to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
• Reviews day-to-day FP&A operations and ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
• Oversees month-end activities including accruals, mass balance, inventory valuation, and plan-to-produce processes.
• Reviews operating budgets and annual plans, ensuring completeness, accuracy and alignment with corporate targets.
• Monitors profitability and variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Supervises capital expenditure processes and provides analytical support for management decisions.
